Deaconess Karen A. Middleton is a native of Charleston, SC and is married to the esteem Deacon Henry C. Middleton. From this union, they have five beautiful children and 6 adorable grandchildren. She is the 5th child of 11 children. She has been a member of Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church for 21 years. Karen faithfully serves as an Advisor of the Young Children’s Choir for 20 years. She certainly has a special place in her heart for the young people. Most of her volunteer work reaches in the community where she serves as a mentor to many and serving in community health fairs. Whenever you see her, you can count on being inspired by her smile, wittiness, encouraging words and inspiration. Karen has been employed for 19 years as a Clinical Supervisor at Charleston Women’s Wellness Center under the direction of Dr. Paula E. Orr, MD. Karen obtained her NRCMA certification in 2015. On December 16, 2017, she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services from Springfield College, Massachusetts (Charleston Site). She attained the Dean’s list and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Karen is currently enrolled in theology classes through Morris College of SC where she is studying and rightly dividing the Word of God. Although Karen has never written a book, she gives special thanks to the Holy Spirit for choosing her as a co-author of His inspiring book.
