The Healing Word
Hello, I’m Rh Jenkins
I would like to introduce you to a tremendously powerful way of being whole, well and enjoying good health. 3rd John 2 says Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in Health, even as thy (your) soul prospereth. So that is my desire for you; that you prosper and be in good, vibrant, dynamic health. Regardless of what condition your health or body is in right now, whether you look and feel like the “Board of Health” or, are experiencing symptoms of sickness, disease or pain; or a long term illness or experiencing what the medical profession has termed an ‘INCURABLE’ condition. The good news I have for you today is that with God, all things are possible: Healing, Divine Health, FREEDOM, Deliverance, Miracles, whatever you need from God. Believe and Receive!
During a study on healing and health, a word from Romans 8 stood out above the rest as I read Romans 8:1. That word was condemnation: There is therefore now, no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit. When studying I like to define and research words, so immediately I went to my dictionary and references on the word ‘condemnation’: The word condemn, condemnation: Bring or pronounce against; judgment executed; unfit for use; to pronounce ‘Incurable.’ That came as a divine revelation to me that if we are in Christ Jesus, and as verse 2 gives us the condition for being Free: who walk (or live) Not after the flesh (after the five physical senses) but after the spirit. For the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
In these scriptures we see that there are two things necessary or required for one to receive this great promise of God.
1. First of all, a person must be “in” Christ Jesus
2. They must walk (or live) after the Spirit, or according to the Law or Word of God.
Both of these requirements are available to the entire human race. For the Word of God says in John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
1. What does it mean to be in ‘Christ Jesus?’
1st Peter 1:23 – Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever.
Being born again is the first requirement.
So how does one become born again?
Romans 10:9-10, 13 – That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (or to say or confess Jesus is Lord) and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved – For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
V13 – For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
* Here is a sample prayer for salvation:
Heavenly Father,
I come to you in the name of Jesus,
It is written in your Word that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved, and that If I shall confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe with my heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, I shall be saved. So I confess right now “Jesus is my Lord,” And I believe in my heart that God has raised Him from the dead. Forgive me of my sins.
And now Father, fill me with your Holy Spirit, give me a language of prayer (Luke 11:13, Acts 2:4).Thank you Lord for coming into my heart and for giving me your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name – Amen
2nd Cor. 5:17 – Therefore if any man (woman, boy or girl) be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away, behold all things have become new.
Now that you are assured of the first requirement, let’s look into the second.
2. You must walk in the Spirit.
Galatians 5:16 – This I say then, walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:22 – But, the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, meekness, faith, goodness, temperance. Against such there is no Law!
So to walk in the spirit is to (live) walk in love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.
We will be defining these fruit of the spirit and the two major laws of the spirit world (that governs everything in this natural world) in chapter one.
In my own “paraphrase” I would write Romans 8:1 as saying, “There is therefore Now ‘Nothing Incurable’ to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.
Nothing Incurable – Nothing Impossible -- Do you believe? Let’s begin with the Two Major Laws.
Define Incurable:
Not able to be cured; untreatable.
*That which can only be cured from within.
